My role

As a PM and UX designer, my job requires constant communication with the client to understand their needs and feedback accurately. This communication is vital for refining our UX designs and ensuring that they align with the client's expectations and requirements. It also requires close communication and collaboration with UI designers.

Challenges

1. The functions are numerous and highly complex.
2. The information related to the car itself is vast and needs to be meticulously organized.
3. Services related to cars are numerous and complicated, and they require integration with promotional information from vendors.
4. Stakeholders are numerous and their relationships are complex.
5. We need to design backends tailored to customer behavior, therefore this project involves two platforms

Not only do people seek out their opinions and advice—of which they have plenty to share—but they also help oversee the purchases of friends and family members.
They are experienced, well-researched, and informed consumers who love to share their thoughts. With the expansion of car technology, the number of high-quality brands on the market, and rising costs of cars, these folks are incredibly powerful in their level of advocacy and influence.

Review

In this project, which involves a vast network of automotive service providers, we were initially concerned that the heavy commercial aspect might lead to a low user registration rate. Fortunately, through the efforts of the platform team and our process optimization, we were able to analyze their needs, reduce the commercial feel, and prioritize user experience over business actions. This approach successfully alleviated our concerns before they could materialize.
